A NUMBER of properties owned by Bradford Council have sold at auction - including one big fixer-upper.
At an auction of Pugh Properties in Leeds on Thursday the Council had listed a number of empty houses in their ownership.
One property, 66 Garden Fields in Wyke, was listed for just £25,000 - but the images promoting the property revealed that the inside was filled with detritus and mountains of clutter.
Despite this the property sold for £12,000 over the guide price - eventually selling for £37,000.
6 Lord Street in Haworth had a guide price of £55,000 - and sold for £64,000.
However another Council owned property, 7 Park Road in Shipley, failed to sell. It had a guide price of £110,000.
