A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection to the death of Mohammed Feazan Ayaz earlier this month.
The man remains in custody at this time.
Six men have already been charged with murder and remanded in custody over the incident, when Feazan Ayaz's body was found dead in Saffron Drive, Allerton on Monday, July 1.
Police have also made a fresh appeal for a car in the murder investigation.
Detectives appealing for help to trace a grey coloured Ford S-Max people carrier, with the registration place EO56 HHE.
The car was last seen in the Denholme area on Monday, July 1, the same day the body of Feazan Ayaz, of Duckworth Grove, was found in Saffron Drive in the early hours.
