BRADFORD'S military heroes are the focus of a tour at Undercliffe Cemetery on Saturday.
A tour of the historic site will take in conflicts from the Crimean War to the Second World War, and tell the story of Bradford soldiers buried there, including two Victoria Cross recipients and two brothers, one of whom received the Distinguished Conduct Medal.
The tour, from 10am-11.45am, will be attended by David Whithorn, Bradford Pals and WW1 expert.
From 1pm-4pm at the cemetery, there's a chance to trace your ancestors with the help of volunteers. Find out if your ancestors are buried at Undercliffe, the location of plots and memorial inscriptions. For this, you will need to know names and dates of burials.
Bradford Family History Society members will be there too, and visitors are invited to take old family photographs.
There's a chance to stroll around the cemetery at leisure, and try the QR codes to reveal more details about the families behind the six listed monuments.
Flora/fauna wildlife tours take place from 1-2pm and 2.30-3.30pm. Refreshments will available from 9.30am.
