FORMER Bradford City star turned football pundit Chris Kamara has hilariously responded to suggestions an e-fit of a burglar issued in a seaside resort could be him.

Humberside Police released the e-fit of a man, with a moustache and wearing a hard hat, who had tried to force entry into a house in Cleethorpes last month.

Users on social media were quick to spot the e-fit's likeness to Kammy, who played 23 games for City and also guided the club to promotion to the old Football League First Division in 1996 and helped them avoid relegation the following year, before leaving the club early in 1998.

Reacting to the comments on his likeness to the image, Kammy posted a photo of himself on Twitter wearing a hard hat, goggles and other builders' gear.

It was captioned: "Please don’t be alarmed if you see me out & about this afternoon I am working."
