TWO more men have appeared in court facing murder charges over the death of Mohammed Feazan Ayaz, who was found dead in Allerton last week.

The latest appearance at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court takes the number of people charged with murder over the 20-year-old's death to five.

A further two people face charges of assisting an offender.

Today, Junaid Hussain, 37, of Silverhill Road, Bradford Moor, and Raheel Khan, 27, of no fixed address, appeared before magistrates charged with murdering Mr Ayaz between June 29 and July 2, 2019, at Unit 2, Denholme Business Centre, in Halifax Road, Denholme.

The body of Mr Ayaz was found in Saffron Drive, Allerton, in the early hours of Monday, July 1.

Both Hussain and Khan, who appeared at court in separate hearings, spoke only to confirm their name, address and date of birth to the court.

Hussain was wearing a black long-sleeved top and dark trousers. Khan was wearing a navy T-shirt and grey bottoms.

Tariq Hussain, for Junaid Hussain, told the court: "My client is aware of the procedure today and understands that it will be dealt with at the Crown Court."

James Bourne-Arton appeared for Khan.

Chairman of the Bench Robert Thornton told the pair that they would remain in custody ahead of an appearance at Bradford Crown Court tomorrow.

Police have also confirmed today that a 47-year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on bail.

Two men aged 23 and 24, who were arrested for assisting an offender, were bailed earlier pending further enquiries.

And two women, aged 21 and 28, who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have been released. The 21-year-old woman was released without charge, and the 28-year-old was released under investigation.
