BRADFORD College has launched new training courses combining science and PE teaching to tackle teacher shortages.
The Secondary Science with PE course is the only course of its type in Yorkshire.
The one year, full time course starts in September and aims to tackle the shortage of science teachers in England, with a generous bursary available.
Students will learn at the college’s University Centre and also on placements at schools.
Applicants need GCSEs of C, or 4, and above in English and Maths, and a relevant degree. An A Level in science is also an advantage.
Anyone interested in applying for the course is urged to contact Bradford College by calling 01274 088088 or using the code BRC B60 with UCAS.
