LEEDS Bradford has the seventh cheapest airport parking in the UK, according to new research.
The study, carried out by My Late Deals, found parking for a two-week break during the summer holidays cost £66.
Of the country’s 22 busiest airports, the cheapest parking rate could be found at Edinburgh Airport, costing £43.99.
London City Airport came out as the most expensive where the fortnight parking charge is an eye-watering £196.50.
Leeds Bradford came in below the national average of £88.34 for official airport car parks, and was also cheaper than Manchester and Liverpool, but £3.50 more expensive than Doncaster Airport.
Emile Rossouw, founder of My Late Deals, said: “Parking at the airport can be stressful and costly.
“It’s therefore important to research the wide range of parking options available and pick the one that best suits your needs.
“For those on a budget, car parks located off site or a short bus ride away from the terminal are often the cheapest.
“But, at a few of the airports we researched, the cheapest parking option was a premium service.
“By booking early you can take advantage of a wider range of options.”
