TEDDYMANIA is coming to the district.

A teddy-themed family event is being held at the Prince of Wales Park, Bingley, on Sunday, July 14.

A host of children’s activities is taking place during the afternoon.

The event is being staged by the park’s Friends group.

A spokesman said: “Everyone is welcome to this fun-filled family afternoon in the lovely arena.

“The event is one of several held throughout the year to invite everyone to enjoy and explore the wonderful park.

“We hold these events to fund the improvement works we carry out.”

Attractions at the Teddymania event – which starts around noon – will include a Pickles Pubs barbecue, teddy story sessions and games, Star Wars characters, ice creams, candy floss and face painting.

All Together Now Choir will be singing from 2pm-2.30pm and from 3.30pm-4pm.

Liz Robinson said: "We have 14 songs, among them being A Million Dreams, Pretty Shining People, Caravan of Love, Mr Rock and Roll, A Thousand Years, You Are the Reason, Little Lies, Make Your Own Kind of Music, and I'm Still Standing!

"We're all hugely looking forward to performing at this funfilled family event!"
