FIRE services from Bingley and Keighley have been dealing with a moorland fire off Ogden Lane, at Denholme.
An area 50 metres by 30 metres was involved in the fire with crews using one large jet and beaters.
According to the emergency services the fire has been extinguished.
One pump from Bingley and a pump and wildfire unit from Keighley attended along with a specialist wildlife officer.
A crew from Illingworth was also sent to the scene.
A spokesman said it was not known at this stage what caused the fire to start.
