POLICE are investigating after a shooting incident in Wibsey.
It happened on Tuesday, but police have only released details today after being contacted by the Telegraph & Argus.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At just after 12am on Tuesday, police received a report of a burglary which was believed to have just happened in High Street, Wibsey.
"Officers attended and found a door and window had been damaged, as well as evidence of a firearms discharge.
"No injuries were reported.
"Enquiries are continuing into the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log 17 of 25 June, or report online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat
"Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
