Bierley Community Association Football Club are on the hunt for the next generation of female players after receiving a £4,500 Grow the Game grant over 3 years.
The scheme, which is funded by the FA and delivered by the Football Foundation, will enable Bierley Community Association FC to create an U12 Girls team in the 19/20 season and U10 and U11 Girls teams in 20/21 season. In the 21/22 season B.C.A.F.C will push to engage all levels of female football from U7 to Open Age, boosting opportunities for female footballers in Bierley and the surrounding areas.
Tracey McNamara, B.C.A.F.C chair, said: "The U12 Girls team will be training at The Life Centre, Bierley on Thursday’s. We are very excited for the future our girls and women”
