BARNOLDSWICK-based stove manufacturers Esse have appointed a specialist pastry chef who trained at Michelin-starred restaurants.
Dominique Ashford will work on new product development and testing, perform cookery demonstrations and host cookery classes.
And she struck up a relationship with the firm after stopping for a coffee at its factory cafe when out cycling in the area.
She said: āIām used to working with large capacity commercial ovens and when I saw the quality of the cakes and loaves emerging from these amazing ovens, I had to find out more about them.ā
Dominique was head pastry chef at the Houses of Parliament and trained at Michelin-starred Roux Brothers restaurants.
