PUPILS with artistic flair at one school have spend the past month preparing work to feature in their first art gallery at their school.
The gallery has been set up at Westbourne Primary School, in Manningham, and other pupils, parents, staff and governors have been invited to see the artworks on display.
Each class chose a different art medium for their works, which have been professionally framed and put on display at the Skinner Lane school.
Mathew Atkinson, headteacher at Westbourne, said: “The purpose of the Art Gallery was to inspire, motivate and raise artistic aspirations for our pupils.
“The standard of the pupils work was very high and it gave the pupils great pride to see their finished pieces framed in the gallery.”
