A MAN was rescued from a crane in the early hours of the morning following a crash.
Emergency services were called to the M1 sliproad of the eastbound carriageway of the M62 at around 3.15am, where there had been a crash involving a car and a crane.
A man, thought to be in his fifties, was trapped in the cab of the crane.
He was complaining of neck pain and pain down his right-hand side.
Firefighters freed the man and he was then taken to hospital.
It's not thought the other driver was injured.
Firefighters from Hunslet attended, along with the technical rescue unit from Cleckheaton.
