A riding club based in Keighley is set to host a fundraising extravaganza in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Organisers have big hopes the event will give back to the air crews who have helped their riders in the past. The fun day will be held at Silsden Riding Club, Swartha Lane, on June 22 from 11am to 3pm.

There will be a variety of stalls, fair rides, a bouncy castle, a pizza and gin stand, car boot sale and family friendly competitions.

Committee member Vicki Hitchcock said: "It's going to be a really fun day with lots of things going on."

Dog owners can sign their pet up for a dog agility show as well as a Victoria sponge baking challenge which will be judged by the Women's Institute from East Morton.

It's the second time Vicki has hosted a fundraiser for the team, having previously raised £4,000.

This time round she is hoping restaurants will donate vouchers to help create a dining-out package for the auction.

She said: "I was really lucky last time I did it. Somebody donated a holiday."
