WEST Yorkshire Police have confirmed that a man suffered facial injuries and a puncture wound to his neck after an incident in the Bradford District late last night.
Residents in Keighley had been left wondering why a police cordon was in place after seeing it this morning.
In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: “At 11.55pm yesterday (Monday), police were called to Cooke Street in Keighley where a man was reported to have suffered facial injuries.
“The man, who was thought to be in his forties, was found to have suffered a puncture wound to his neck and was taken to hospital for treatment.
“His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
“Bradford District CID is continuing enquiries and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact them on 101, quoting log 1993 of June 17”
