ONE Audi will be celebrating this weekend after their stolen car was successfully stopped and seized by police in Bradford last night.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit tracked down the stolen grey Audi A8 before using the TPAC manoeuvre to bring the car to a stop.
The car was brought to a halt heading towards Bradford in Leeds Road, Thornbury.
The car will now be returned undamaged to its rightful owner, and those responsible for stealing it dealt with accordingly.
A TPAC - Tactical Pursuit and Containment - involves a number of trained officers using their vehicles to surround the vehicle they are pursuing and bring the chase gradually to a halt by slowing the vehicle down, and giving the driver no way of escaping.
