Nearly 2,000 vehicle crimes were reported in Bradford in the first four months of this year, latest figures reveal - with a result of a grand total of 10 convictions.

Official data released on a monthly basis by West Yorkshire Police details 1,938 vehicle crimes reported between January and April this year - all of which are shown on our map below.

The police definition of vehicle crime covers thefts from vehicles as well as thefts of the vehicles themselves, and details of individual offences are not included in the data.

CRIME MAP: Every burglary in Bradford in 2019 so far

Of the 10 convictions, 2 resulted in a prison sentence with 1 more suspended sentence, 1 fine and 6 community sentences handed out.

A further 16 cases are still going throug the courts, and another 184 are still being investigated.

1,664 investigations have been marked as complete with no suspects indentified.
