BRADFORD PHAB Club is making preparations for its annual summer sports camp for physically handicapped and able-bodied youngsters and young people around the district.
Recent National Lottery funding of £10,000 has helped the self-funding club, based at the Mappa Building, in Coates Street, deliver a photography project in May and will also go towards the summer sports camp.
This year it is being held on August 6, 7 and 8, and then on August 20, 21 and 22 at East Bierley Cricket Club.
The activities will be held between 10am and 3pm on those dates and are open for all ages and abilities.
Bradford PHAB Club, a registered charity, has been running since 1972 and its chairman is Akbar Khan, a housing manager with Leeds City Council.
To book a place at the camp or for more information ring Mr Khan on: 07850 964864.
