Backed up traffic on the M62
TRAFFIC is being held in all lanes westbound on the M62 due to what a passing motorist has described as a "van being escorted".
There are currently large queues between Junction 25 for Brighouse and J24 for Huddersfield because of the incident.
One motorist who passed in the opposite direction said the delays seemed to be because police were escorted what appeared to be a prison van along the motorway.
Delays of ten minutes are currently being experienced by motorists.
Highways England have been contacted for comment.
