CHILDREN at Bradford Royal Infirmary received a raft of gifts and toys this week to mark the end of Ramadan.

Manningham fundraiser Nazim Ali made his usual Eid trip to the children’s ward at BRI to drop offer gifts donated by Saveco Cash and Carry.

This was the seventh year in a row he has visited the hospital to bring ill children some joy and happiness at Eid.

Elaine Drake, fundraiser at Bradford Hospitals Charity, said: “A big thank you to Nazim and Saveco Cash & Carry for their amazing support.

“The gifts will make a huge difference and it was wonderful to see the poorly children smiling and brings that normality for them.

“We cannot wait to see the joy on the face of the children upon receiving their Eid gifts.”
