The ever-popular Cleckheaton Folk Festival returns for its 32nd year with a variety of performances billed as ‘Something for everyone’ over a three-day run taking place on its traditional first complete weekend of July (5th, 6th and 7th).

Many of the events will be free of charge, with just a ‘bucket collection’ taking place for donations, and include The Big Parade, markets, workshops, street entertainers and including various acts including headliners The London Philharmonic Skiffle Orchestra, The Mather Robinson Band, female folk supergroup Daphne’s Flight and Sunday sees the mighty Jon Boden & The Remnant Kings take to the stage in an All-Star Town Hall concert. Smaller sized acts will fill the bill in The Masonic Hall whilst a Family Fun Day event takes place in Savoy Square during Sunday afternoon.

Selected local cafés and public houses The Wickham Arms and The Commercial will be the setting for further entertainment provided by festival guest artists in what promises to be a fantastic family event whatever the weather!
