EMPLOYEES from a multi-national bottling company have helped give Otley a big clean.
A team of local volunteers from Coca-Cola European Partners joined forces with the Town Council to tidy the town on Friday, May 31, when more than 30 bags of rubbish was collected.
Coca-Cola organiser James Robinson said: “This was a great opportunity to give back to the community through Keep Britain Tidy and our commitment to the This is Forward initiative towards recycling. We were extremely pleased to work with Otley Town Council on this important project.”
Councillor Sylvia Thomson (Lib Dem, Ashfield) said: “We were very happy to welcome the Coca-Cola team in our continued efforts to improve the environment for our residents and visitors.”
The town council organises a monthly litter pick that relies on volunteers- for future dates visit www.otleytowncouncil.gov.uk .
