FRIENDS and family of Shipley teen Leah Barber have organised a balloon release on what would have been her 16th birthday.
People will be releasing biodegradable balloons and lighting candles to 'remember her for the special friend she was'.
The release takes place at 6pm on Tuesday, June 11, at the top of Carr Lane in Shipley.
West Yorkshire Police found a body in the search for the missing teenager on June 3.
A statement from West Yorkshire Police at the time said: "Officers searching for missing Leah Barber from Shipley have this afternoon found a body of a female in Bradford.
"Leah’s family have been notified and enquiries are ongoing, however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances."
