RAIL delays are expected until this evening due following a train fire in Wakefield.
Lines have reopened between Leeds and Huddersfield, but severe disruption is expected to continue.
The latest statement fron Transpennine Express says: "Following the fire brigade dealing with an incident near the railway between Leeds and Huddersfield some lines have now reopened.
"Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services will still be cancelled or delayed.
"Disruption is expected until 7.45pm. Customers can still travel tomorrow and ticket restrictions lifted.
"Ticket acceptance is still in place with Northern, East Midlands Trains, LNER, CrossCountry and Grand Central on the following routes: Leeds and York in both directions on Northern and CrossCounty services.
"York and Newcastle in both directions on LNER and CrossCountry services.
"Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street in both directions on Northern and East Midlands Trains services.
"Manchester Victoria and Liverpool Lime Street in both directions on Northern services."
