A SHEEP was left with “serious injuries” after being attacked by a dog in a rural area of Otley.
West Yorkshire Police are now appealing for any information relating to the incident, which happened on Tuesday evening near Otley Chevin Park.
Some time between 4pm on Tuesday and noon on Wednesday a sheep was attacked by a dog in a field adjacent to Danefield, Leeds Road, Otley, and police want anyone who knows what happened to come forward.
A spokesman said: “This has left the sheep with serious injuries.
