POLICE are investigating after a lamb – believed to have been attacked with an ice-pick-type weapon – was found dead.
Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team said the animal was discovered close to a path at Hebden Bridge Road, Oxenhope, at about 6.20am yesterday (Weds May 29).
It is believed the attack took place sometime after 11pm on Tuesday.
Livestock owners in the area are being warned to be vigilant.
