BINGLEY's new Lidl store opened its doors this morning.
The new supermarket, on Main Street, has been much anticipated and the new Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Doreen Lee, was on hand to help cut the ribbon.
David Murphy, Lidl GB’s Regional Head of Property, said: “We would like to thank all those who have played a part in bringing this new Lidl store to Bingley.
"It is great for us to be able to create more jobs and investment opportunities in the area."
The store, with a 1,325m² sales area, has created up to 40 new jobs and boasts features like an in-store bakery and longer-style tills with dual packing.
The new branch will add to Lidl UK’s portfolio of more than 700 stores.
