A CHARITY night raised more than £700 for a charity which helps to support people living with Crohns and Colitis.
Trudy and Stuart Walker (pictured), from Greengates, were inspired to organised the event after watching their 16-year-old son, Sam, struggle with Crohns.
As well as raising funds for Crohns and Colitis UK, the family also wanted to raise awareness and understanding of the conditions.
Patrick McBride, Cadbury's new Milk Tray Man, was the host for the evening, which was held at Peasehill House in Rawdon.
The night also included musical entertainment from a number of bands.
Over £700 has been raised, but donations can still be made by visiting Trudy's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/trudy.walker27.
