CASK ale from Yorkshire and beyond will be showcased next month.

Organised by the local branch of the Campaign for Real Ale and run by volunteers, the Leeds Beer Festival takes place from June 6 to 8 at Leeds Beckett University Students Union 'Hive.'

Richard Coldwell, Branch Publicity Officer said: "We're looking forward to welcoming visitors through the door for this year's festival.

"We'd also like to encourage CAMRA members in the area to consider joining in the fun! Once again, Leeds festival is taking place during NCVO's Volunteer's Week, which highlights the fantastic work that volunteers do up and down the country.

"Over 7,000 CAMRA members nationally give their time to the Campaign in a voluntary capacity and Leeds Beer Festival is no exception. We'd like to say a huge thank you to each and everyone who contributes to our successes year in, year out. We hope ‘Volunteers Week’ will encourage more people to get involved!"
