West Yorkshire Police - Shipley have released some worrying figures
THERE were 58 residential burglaries and 26 thefts from vehicles in Shipley last month, with worried Facebook commenters saying that the figures show the force is in "dire need of funding".
West Yorkshire Police - Shipley released their April 2019 stats on Facebook. These showed that of the 58 burglaries, 13 were failed attempts.
As well as the 26 thefts from vehicles, there were also seven vehicle thefts. Six pedal bikes were also stolen during the month.
