ROYAL Mail has exceeded its regulatory First Class mail target (93.0 per cent) for the financial year 2018-19 in the BD postcode area1, delivering 93.6 per cent per cent the next working day.

Overall, Royal Mail missed its annual regulatory target for First Class mail, delivering 91.5 per cent the next working day, against a target of 93.0 per cent., putting the BD result above average.

“We take our quality of service requirements extremely seriously and our postmen and postwomen work very hard to deliver these demanding targets six days a week in all weather.
