SHAMED radio presenter and comedy writer Danny Baker is to appear on stage at St George’s Hall, in Bradford.
The former DJ (pictured)was sacked by bosses of his BBC Radio Five show earlier this month after he made an alleged racist tweet following the birth of Prince Harry’s and Meghan Markle’s baby boy.
Mr Baker will deliver his stand-up routine, Good Time Charlie’s Back, on May 28, as part of a series of one-night stands at theatres around the country.
A spokesman for Bradford Theatres confirmed Mr Baker was attending ‘as planned’ and that ticket sales were ‘progressing as expected’.
They did not comment on the number of ticket sales so far, or if anyone had requested a refund following his sacking.
