AN application for a new housing development on old agricultural land has been deferred.
The outline application, lodged by AL Properties Yorkshire, for a development of up to nine dwellings is requesting consideration of access to greenbelt land at Apperley Lane, Apperley Bridge.
Councillors were due to discuss the plans at a meeting of the Bradford Area Planning Panel yesterday, but the application was deferred.
The plans had been recommended for refusal.
A report to councillors said it represents "clearly inappropriate development" and there would be "substandard access onto an extremely busy district distributor road resulting in conditions prejudicial to highway safety".
