DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses following a ram raid at S&S jewellers on Leeds Road in Bradford .

Officers were called at 11.50am to the jewellers, to a report that a grey Mitsubishi shogun car had reversed into the store.

Three suspects entered the store, with one armed with a bat. A fourth male was parked in a black Mercedes nearby.

The suspects made off in the Mercedes in the direction of Thornbury with a quantity of jewellery.

Detective Inspector Mark Taylor of Bradford District CID, said: “Detectives are conducting active enquiries into this incident in which a quantity of jewellery was taken from the store.

“We are appealing for witnesses who were in the area at the time and saw what happened, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the suspect Mercedes leaving the scene or the Mitsubishi used in the robbery.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who saw either of the vehicles driving in the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101, quoting reference 749 of 14/5.

“Information can also be passed to the independent Crimestoppers charity in complete anonymity on 0800 555 111.”
