HIGHWAYS Yorkshire have confirmed that lanes one and two on the M62 westbound between Chain Bar (J26) to Brighouse (J25) are still closed after the services due to a collision.
They confirmed that traffic officers and the West Yorkshire Police - Roads Policing Unit were currently travelling there to assist.
Lane three, which was closed originally, has now been reopened, with the stricken vehicle involved moved to the nearby emergency area.
Traffic officers are currently removing the remaining debris and assessing the barrier.
There are currently 40 minute delays on the approach to this M62 incident (above usual journey times) spanning five miles back to J27.
Average speeds on the approach to J25 are just 5 mph.
