BARRATT Homes Yorkshire West has been helping Clayton St John C of E Primary School in Clayton create its own flower garden and learn about how they can encourage wildlife, ready for the summer.

The Year One class decorated their very own plant pots from the housebuilder and decorated them in their own special patterns and designs.

The children also planted flower seeds into the plant pots to celebrate the arrival of spring.

Matt Beasley, Sales Adviser from the nearby Spring Valley View development, said: “We’re always keen to work to give back to the communities we build in.

“We hope that the children at Clayton St John C of E Primary School enjoy seeing their flowers bloom throughout spring and summer.”

Mrs Ellis-Holmes, Class Teacher at the school, said: “We’d like to thank Barratt Homes Yorkshire West for gifting us with the plant pots and helping the class plant their flower seeds.

“The children are excited to see their flowers grow and we will be looking out for any bees and butterflies that the flowers may attract.”

Spring Valley View is a collection of two, three and four bedroom homes located in Clayton.

The development boasts open countryside views and benefits from local amenities including shops, traditional pubs and restaurants.

Homes are available to purchase from £105,820.
