ARRESTS have been made in connection with a robbery at a Cleckheaton pub.
It happened at 11.10pm last Monday, May 6, at the Marsh Hotel, when the pub still had customers in.
Police said the masked suspects went into the pub and told people to lie down and hand over their wallets. They are said to have taken money from the wallets and the till.
During the raid, a man had an unknown substance thrown over him and was also attacked with what is believed to be an axe.
He fell on the floor and was sprayed with the substance again. Another man was also sprayed in the face.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Three males have been arrested on suspicion of robbery. Two have been released under investigation.
"The third man remains in police custody."
