A WOMAN died in a house fire in Allerton, Bradford, this afternoon.
Police say a 59-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene in Canford Road.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said officers were called at 4.38 today to a report of a house fire.
They said enquiries were ongoing but the incident was not being treated as suspicious at this time.
Fire crews from Bingley and Odsal fire stations were involved in the incident.
An eyewitness reported that the road was taped off with at least three police cars in attendance.
There was a second house fire earlier nearby in Fearnsides Street, off Thornton Road, Black Abbey.
The incident at 3.42pm was attended by three pumps - from Fairweather Green, Shipley and Bradford - and an aerial appliance from Bradford.
