BRADFORD estate agency staff have helped hospice children become Kings and Queens of the Jungle
Green-fingered staff swapped the office for the outdoors to develop an adventure garden for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses.
Eleven colleagues from Linley & Simpson, which has offices in Ilkley, Saltaire, Pudsey and Horsforth, rolled up their sleeves for a day of volunteering at Martin House Hospice at Boston Spa.
After creating a jungle adventure garden in the hospice grounds last year, they returned this week to extend it ahead of summer.
It is the third year in succession that volunteers from Linley & Simpson, an independent Yorkshire agency, have helped transform the outdoor areas of the hospice, which is its chosen long-term charity partner.
Two years ago they helped to create a wildlife garden to provide a tranquil escape for the children being cared for there, and their family and friends. The result was a thriving habitat for declining species, such as butterflies, bees and hedgehogs, in a quiet area of spare land.
