A WEST Yorkshire police officer has tweeted that in seven years of policing he has never witnessed a driver being as drunk as the one stopped in Bradford South on Sunday night.

The special constable and section officer in Bradford South said two vehicles were seized in the area.

He said one had no keeper, no insurance, no tax and no SORN.

It was being used by a group of youths who ran off.

The second vehicle was seized for no insurance and the driver was found to be more than four times over the drink-drive limit.

The driver was charged and will appear in court.

Special Constable Cross tweeted: “Having been policing over seven years I have never seen someone so obviously drunk while driving and I hope he gets a lengthy ban.”
