This is the dramatic moment petrol station manager Ilyas Umarji fends off vicious crowbar-wielding robbers, armed with just a wastepaper basket and an upturned stool.

The two masked youths struck at the Whitehall Road Service Station on October 4 last year.

The raiders were only interested in recovering CCTV footage implicating Mohammed Nisar 'Meggy' Khan and Tony Grant in the murder of Amriz Iqbal.

But as this video shows, they left empty-handed after Mr Umarji stood his ground to defend the kiosk.
