A BRADFORD gallery will be hosting a Paralympic themed family activity day tomorrow.

Cartwright Hall in Lister Park, Manningham is currently displaying artefacts, memorabilia and art based on the history of disability sports.

Tomorrow there will be a family drop in sports activity workshop in and around the gallery from 11am to 3pm.

The free event will allow people to take part in a range of sport activities with coaches from Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure.

Paralympic exhibition comes to Cartwright Hall in Bradford

There will be wheelchair basketball sessions with Adam Tasker and a visit from Peter Finbow a Bradford-born multi-medal winning Paralympic wheelchair basketball player.

The day will also be a chance for families to see the exhibition, which runs at the gallery until June 9.

The exhibition includes posters from the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as touch-and-feel exhibits of medals, torches, running blades and goalball kits.
