TWO men aged 16 and 18 have been arrested in connection with Monday's robbery at the Co-Op in Denholme.

Both remain in custody and Bradford District CID are continuing enquiries.

Monday's raid saw three men enter the store with axes and threaten customers before entering the till area, taking cash and cigarettes.

They then left in a vehicle which went along Main Road towards Queensbury.

It was the second robbery in just over a month at Denholme's Co-Op.

The attack on March 21 saw five men, armed with axes, steal money and cigarettes from the store.

Three female members of staff were left terrified after the men raided the shop at 8.30pm, according to a member of staff at the store.
