LATEST: Firefighters have now left Ilkley Moor
FIREFIGHTERS from Bradford were among crews continuing to deal with the aftermath of moorland fires in Marsden and Ilkley overnight.
Major fires broke out on the moorlands over the weekend, and scores of officers have been working hard to ensure the flames do not reignite during the night.
Fire crews from Fairweather Green, Bingley, and Keighley were among crews on Ilkley Moor, and Odsal firefighters were dealing with the Marsden moor fire.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews remained at the moors overnight monitoring the areas, and both remain active incidents for the time being.
Yesterday, one man was charged with arson over the fire on Ilkley Moor.
