MORRISONS supermarket, at Girlington, has been thanked for donating 100 Easter eggs to Bradford Community Kitchen which feeds the homeless each Sunday from its headquarters at the Millside Centre.

The supermarket’s deputy manager Wayne Foster handed the eggs to Abdul Satar (pictured) one of the founders of the community kitchen.

They were given out to guests at the community kitchen on Easter Sunday.

Mr Satar said he wanted to thank Morrisons for their generosity and also the volunteers who help at the community kitchen which regularly sees more than 100 homeless and vulnerable people each week.

Volunteer Debbie Rawson, who works for Morrisons, had requested the donation on behalf of the organisation.

Anyone wishing to volunteer can contact Mr Satar on 07888693196.
