TWO Bradford men have appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Holme Wood on Sunday which left a man with serious injuries.
Nicholas Beck, 30, of Dawnay Road, and John Wilkinson, 28, of Sage Street, faced an additional charge each.
Beck is charged with possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life, and Wilkinson with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a machete.
In a hearing at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court which lasted just under an hour, prosecutor Nusrat Mahmood outlined how Mark Lee was injured in a shooting incident on Grayswood Crescent in Holme Wood at 11.25am on Sunday.
Safter Salam represented Beck and Gulfraz Khan represented Wilkinson.
Applications were made for bail, which were refused and the pair were remanded in custody.
They are due to appear at Bradford Crown Court on May 16.
