FIRE crews from Bingley and Keighley attended a two-car crash last night, with one driver trapped in his vehicle on Queen's Road.
Fortunately, they were able to extricate him from his car and the Yorkshire Ambulance Service took him to Airedale General Hospital to be checked over.
A spokesperson for Keighley Fire Station said: "Police were already on the scene when the fire crews arrived.
"As there was a middle-aged male trapped in his vehicle, a call for an ambulance was requested.
"It took us about 30 minutes to extricate him and after we left, police stayed to ensure the scene was safe and assisted with the recovery of the vehicles."
The spokesperson confirmed that the crews were there from around 11:30pm until 12:30am.
