TWO unknown HGV drivers saved a man's life, and potentially those of several others, by protecting his vehicle after he collapsed at the wheel on the M62 in Bradford.
The incident, which happened overnight, saw them use their lorries to block that part of the motorway to prevent any kind of collision.
@WYP_TrafficDave, a Bradford-based traffic cop for the West Yorkshire Roads Policing Unit, tweeted his thanks to the two drivers.
He also said thanked Highways Yorkshire, Yorkshire Ambulance and West Yorkshire Police Force Command Hub for their assistance at the incident.
