Laisterdyke WM Club, Easter Parade in 1969
For this week’s Throwback Thursday, we are taking a step back in time to 1969, with a fantastic picture of four sisters, one of them from Canada, all merrily taking part in Laisterdyke Working Men’s Easter bonnet parade.
Pictured in the centre is Mrs. Irene Wakeman, who had left Bradford as a bride and was now returning home for a visit. Also pictured is Mrs. Margaret Brown, Mrs. Joan Knipe and Mrs. Phyllis Abbott.
